Earlier this year, CEMWorks was excited to welcome Randy Yee as a Computational Scientist!
Before joining us at CEMWorks, Randy developed a wide range of experience as a mathematical researcher from real analysis to applied cryptography. Along the way, Randy gained a strong background in C++ coding and actively participates in mathematical outreach and volunteer work. He has received numerous honours, including teaching recognition from the University of Calgary and was a recent recipient of the Alberta Graduate Excellence Scholarship in 2021.
In addition to his work and research experience, Randy brings a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Mathematics from the University of Winnipeg, an MMath in Combinatorics and Optimization from the University of Waterloo and continues to pursue his Ph.D. in Computational Number Theory at the University of Calgary!
